TESE Results

Hi Glow Friends!

I’m wondering what experience anyone has had following TESE with the sperm grade. My husband had his procedure last week, everything went fine, no complications and minimal recovery for him which was a big relief! The results came back and they were able to freeze 6 vials which we are very happy about, however the bad news was it was graded “poor” on a scale of good/fair/poor.

The provider indicated we could still move forward with IVF however they may need to go through more of our vials to find suitable sperm to use. The poor rating is still concerning to us however. Has anyone had any similar experiences and what your outcome was? Naturally, this news feels like a set back, just looking for some hope or insight whether this is truly something we should be concerned about.
