Painful bellybutton?

Question

I have a pretty constant stabbing pain in and near my bellybutton and also the skin around it feels irritated, almost like a sunburn but there is absolutely nothing showing on my actual skin. It’s sometimes itchy too. 
Anyone else? Could it just be from my skin stretching? (Baby seems to hangout right there quite a bit.) don’t have my next appointment til next week.

I have the same thing 😩 not necessarily the stabbing pain, but the skin around my belly button is incredibly sensitive and very very hard. I'm sure it's just from stretching/growing, but I've also been reading up on hernias 😒.  I was planning on asking my OB about it at my appointment next week!

I asked my OB the same thing because it hurts to laugh and even squat down to pick up something. I thought it was a hernia but she said since it’s my second pregnancy that the muscles are not the same. And the ligaments are not holding the belly like it used too

Yep I’m the same. When my husband hugs me and his belly touches mine I actually flinch it’s that sore 🙈 think it’s just baby pushing on it from the inside.
