Mothers carry their babies’ cells forever after loss
I recently read an article about this- even with early losses, some foetal cells/ DNA enter the mother and are retained within her forever. If the mother is injured/ sick then those cells can help heal her.
I found this super comforting that somehow I am still carrying around a tiny part of my lost babies with me and they can help me out when I most need it.
