Not what I expected

So I had my scheduled visit today to finally see our little one, but about 3 hours before my appointment I had this weird feeling in my stomach and a sudden warmth where I knew it had to be wrong. I started bleeding bright red and panicked. I went straight to the ER where they started my blood work and immediately ordered an ultrasound. It was the most terrifying 5 minutes laying there with no view of the screen. Finally the nurse says, are you ready? Not knowing what she meant, she turned the screen to me where I saw two sacs. I am pregnant with two healthy babies! After checking out and heading straight to my OB and another ultrasound, turns out I have a subchorionic hematoma. My cervix is closed, so thankfully my body is fighting to hold on. Time to take it easy and pray my placenta merges back on its own! What a day to find out what we thought would be the worst news to discovering something unbelievable!
