Are you getting the flu shot while pregnant?

I don’t ever get flu shots because I have a pretty good immune system since I started working in schools/teaching - and it wasn’t a big deal to me if I got sick. But with baby being born in flu season and research saying getting the vaccine while pregnant will protect baby for the first few months - I am obviously considering getting it. Just a little nervous I guess about how my body/baby will react since I haven’t gotten a flu shot in 10+ years. Thanks!

Ive never got a flu shot and my midwife actually advised that I didn’t start now even though I’m pregnant

I get the flu shot every year. Even if it’s not very effective that year, there’s speculation that if you do get the flu it tends to be less severe if you’ve had the vaccine.
I’m a big pro-vaccine person though so🤷🏼‍♀️

I have never gotten one until pregnant. The doctors office highly recommend it so I did it with both pregnancies.

Im not getting one. last time I got one because they are mandatory at my job I broke out in hives.  Sometimes the strand of the flu vaccine isn’t even the one that is getting everyone sick.

I’ve never had the flu or being real sick ever in my life. But I did get the flu vaccine this year as I’m now 32weeks pregnant and I had read into this by getting the flu shot it can’t do any harm at all, with the flu this year it’s dangerous for pregnant woman, newborns and the elderly.

I’m in this same predicament! I’ve literally NEVER had the flu shot so I’m worried about how my body will react. But if it passes on some immunity to the baby then I’m definitely getting it!
