Is Isla too popular?

I know it’s not an uncommon name. But I also don’t want her to be one of 4 in her classroom. What do you all think?

It’s very popular here in the Pacific Northwest. They may not be in school yet, but in the next couple years there will probably be more than one Isla in some classrooms. But that may be different in your area.

I’m a teacher and for the past few years have had at least one Isla in the class. If you really want a name she’s unlikely to share with her classmates I’d be tempted to chose something different. My friend loved Isla but wanted something more unique and settled on Myla.

I’ve only met one Isla so far!! The name Amelia is so common and I don’t like it at all. Love the name Isla though!

Apparently it’s a popular name, in the top 100, but I’ve never met an Isla before!  I love Isla.  It’s so simple and pretty, but my hubby doesn’t like it!  Ugh.  Anyways, I say go for it :)
