Serious dog advice. I’m worried and don’t know what to do🥵🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤯

Bailey

I’m going to try and make this as short as possible but I really need some advice, so if you could please read this through and let me know if you’ve been in a situation like this or possibly know what may be going on. Basically my dog is whining frequently. It’s not my dog it’s my dads, but I claim her because I love her and we have a bond. She has been coming to me whining for the past two days. Last night as I was getting ready for bed she came in my room, started whining at me, and buried herself under my covers and went to sleep. I went in the bathroom and shut the door to blow dry my hair for maybe 10 minutes and when I opened the door she was standing there, followed me back into my room, and start whining at me again. Last Saturday she got the zoomies and was slipping around on our hardwood floor and smacked into a post we have in our house with one of her legs. She started whining and was limping but she eventually put it back down and gave it no second thought. I checked it back out last night and she was nipping at me a tiny bit, but if she had an issue with her leg wouldn’t she be showing it more in how she walks or be messing with it? One thing I have noticed is that she whines the most at night. It’s pretty much constant when everyone starts to go to bed. When we put her in her bed for the night she will continue to whine, which has never been an issue since we’ve crate trained her. I’ve looked things up and there and so many causes and issues it could be. I want to take her to the vet, but my dad doesn’t think she needs to go. It just breaks my heart because it worries me that she’s in pain or something and I can’t understand her.
