Husband and American Idol

Hey ladies! I posted in the Video Contests last week about my husband making it through the first round of American Idol auditions.

The next part was that he had to do an interview and sing 3 songs for a camera. The executive producers would watch that and decide if they wanted to invite him for Round 2 in Nashville. The Nashville auditions are in just a few days, and my husband hasn’t heard anything else from them.

Several other people have been told that they would not be moving forward, so it’s not a bad thing that he hasn’t heard back! But with auditions being next week, we feel like they decided not to move him forward. (But we’re also still holding out hope that they call him!)

And, that’s okay! I’m proud of him for at least trying!

We had already been talking about having a baby, and decided to postpone that until after we found out about American Idol. But we decided to go ahead and move forward, and I had my IUD taken out this morning!

I read him all of your very sweet comments, and he was very grateful and appreciative. He says that he won Glow Idol. 😂
