Period Like Cramping??

Hey ladies! I will be 36 weeks on Sunday and in the middle of the night last night I started to experience off and on period like cramping. This is my first pregnancy, so I’m not sure if it is a normal symptom. Have any of you ladies experienced it as well?

I’m 36 weeks and 3 days and I’ve had this since last week. I actually am having them right now on and off. Sometimes they will last all day others just come and go. I think it’s our bodies getting ready for baby. My OB didn’t seem concerned.. but I know it’s a little scary but if you’re not bleeding or in intense pain I think it’s just probably things working out down there ♥️

Yes this past weekend I had the worst period like cramps, but they weren’t contractions bc they were constant. After 2 days they went away and I haven’t had them since. I thinking it’s just my body preparing and I hope that means maybe she’ll come a week or 2 early 😂

I’m almost 35 weeks & i have been having them for about a week - i mentioned it to my OBGYN and she just said they are Braxton Hicks and if they become consistent like 3 minutes apart - then to call. but she wasn’t a slightest bit worried about it

I read that this feeling can also be Braxton-Hicks contractions that are getting stronger the closer you get to your due date

My dr said period like cramping is normal. Your body is getting ready for labor as long as theres no blood.

I’m 35w1d and I’ve been feeling the same for the last two weeks! I mentioned it to my doctor and she said it’s totally normal.

So I called my mom for this last night, as well as contractions, and she said she had the same thing go on for about 6 days until she went into labor. She said it's just baby moving down and body getting ready.
