I was happy to watch my 5 month old nephew all day, while his parents were at work, at home with my 7 month old son. Almost immediately after he was dropped off, I noticed my nephew had a runny nose. It ran all day. I made sure that my son didn’t chew on any toys that my nephew had and washed all of them when he left. When BIL came to pick him up I asked about the runny nose. He said it’s been like that for a few days now, but they think it’s allergies. It’s not really allergy weather and neither house has any animals. How would you feel?

9/15 update! My baby is now sick. Tonight was awful! He was so congested he couldn’t sleep, and was struggling to breathe through all his mucus. We had to use the nose frida a couple times. I feel so terrible for him. I held him upright for about 6 hours before his nose cleared up enough to lay him down to sleep.

I’m no longer annoyed, I’m beyond angry. Watching him last night knowing someone carelessly exposed him to this makes my blood boil.
