I had both, I would be super constipated and then once a week have diarrhea which cleared me out lol very uncomfortable but it's getting better towards end of second trimester. 
My girls I was just super constipated

Im only a few weeks in and literally have the best ! (Weird I know) ...  I go so easily and 1-3 times a day. I’m sure it’ll change very soon.

Omg I thought I was dying I had diarrhoea that bad in this pregnancy, I’m now 18 weeks and every so often I’ll get awful stomach pains during the night, I thought I was in early labour last night but nope, poop pains 👎🏼

Both.. 😩 started out constipated then later had diarrhea. Both are common in pregnancy at any time.
