What happens post loss

Hi, i wanted to share my experience, share yours below as well. I hope this post will be useful for the mothers who are already suffering from loss and dont know what happens next.

I got a BFP in May for the 1st time ever. However, at 5w ultra sound, there was only a sac and nothing else. I was told to wait. My beta numbers were still rising. At 7w ultrasound, there was a sac and a baby, but no heartbeat. Beta numbers stopped doubling, by rose marginally. So doctor gave me an option to wait or abort. We waited a week, next ultrasound showed no progress and the numbers stopped rising. The placenta didnt form.

I was given Misoprostol. I took and and bled heavily just for 1 day with clots, no more bleeding thereafter. Had an ultrasound 1.5 weeks after this. Luckily there was no 'product' left and I did not need a d&c. My hcg numbers took about 3 weeks to come to zero.

I was put on birth control for 21 days and then was able to start my next transfer cycle immediately after.
