How old was your baby before you brought them to church?

My baby is 2 weeks old. I’m wondering when a good time to bring her to church would be, I would wear her in the sanctuary of course. I wouldn’t put her in childcare til 6 months.

Baby was 4 weeks old and I held him in service every Sunday and he still sits with me at two year old

4 weeks. We had her baptized that week and at that point I was feeling good enough to try to get out of the house on time lol.

2 weeks. We kept him in his carrier before and after. People generally knew to look not touch. We didn’t have a problem

Baby #1 was 3 weeks. 
Baby #2 was 1 week. 
It’s whenever you’re comfortable with bringing them around so many people and how you’re feeling. One consideration for me was could I sit on a wooden pew for an hour? I brought my own little pillow in a bag and that worked out great. I usually keep baby with me for at least the first three months before putting him in nursery as he still needs to eat in the middle of service. Baby 2 is 4 mos and thinking about putting him in the nursery soon so I can actually hear a sermon. But again it comes down to your comfort level
