How many are still using bottles?

My babies doctor just told me that he needs to stop using bottles and start using sippy cups. My baby will use them but he wastes more milk then he takes in it seems. It gets everywhere when he’s eating idk what to do. Anyone else?
My doctor said to start using them because a bottle is bad for his teeth and to stop using pacifiers as well....

We are for sure still using bottles. I never thought of using a sippy cup for milk. The only time I give my son a sippy cup is when I give him his one sip of water after he’s had his solids for the night, and that’s only every so often.

We are still using bottles. At her 6 month visit, her pediatrician said if we wanted to, we could try like an ounce of water in a soppy cup, but that she probably wouldn’t be interested.  I tried once and she wasn’t interested at all.

Still use bottles until she is off formula at a year old. She uses the 360 cup for water when she eats solids

He’s still using bottles, we bought him a 360 cup and he starts to get pissed off after a few minutes. We’ll try again in a few weeks.

We were told to introduce sippy cups and straw cups. Nothing about eliminating bottles.  Our LO only has 2  bottom teeth 🦷, if you child has a lot of teeth maybe thats why 🤷‍♀️. 
Switching totally seems silly at this point though

That’s VERY aggressive advice. You should aim to eliminate bottles by 14ish months IMO. Sippy cups honestly aren’t THAT much better for their teeth. However, it’s definitely time to introduce cups! A little water with solid meals is a great way to start.

don’t think that’s common practice, i’m still using bottles when other people watch my daughter and i JUST started offering a soppy cup with some water during dinner but she doesn’t know how to actually drink from it yet she just chews on it lol

My 3 year old still takes a bottle at night 😭 but he has SPD. I don't think it's as big a deal as doctor's make it out to be.

I started at 7 months and my kids were off them by 9 months. It’s trial and error. Nuk worked great

😳 you can introduce silly cups, but it is too early to stop bottles! Unless it works for you, every situation is unique, but still taking bottles at this age is perfectly normal. My oldest did til she was 16 months. She’s a perfectly functional 2 year old now 🤣
