When did y’all ladies got discharge with vaginal birth?

I have an option if I want to leave tomorrow I gave birth September 15 at 3:03pm or stay 2 nights get out on Tuesday. Well if everything is fine I will love to leave tomorrow afternoon what you ladies think.

Our hospital released us 48 hours after time of birth

First vaginal birth is normally 48 hours post birth. Any following vaginal birth is 24 hours post birth. At least this is how it was done for the hospital I went to

For me it will depend what time of day my girl is born. I'm gbs positive so they want to watch the baby for 24 hours so if she's born late then I'll spend 2 nights in the hospital, if born earlier in the day it could be only 1 night. So that factors in if you are gbs positive as well.

My hospital's policy is if there's no complications, you start the discharge process 24 hours after the baby is born

With my son it was almost a week but I had complications. This time as long as everything goes smooth they only require 36hrs
