How soon is too soon? Pregnant at a new job

Hello Glow community, I just started a new job a couple months ago and really excited to restart my career after a short travel/career brake. My boyfriend and I just got married and we started to have the kid conversation (he is 41 I’m 36), and he is ready for us to start trying now. I’m a bit more hesitant because I am not sure how soon is too soon after being hired to say “hey I’m pregnant” obviously we are aware it might take a while and so “trying” is a key word, but I’d like to wait to have at least 6 months on the job to start trying. What do you think?

I’m not asking about the legality, I know they can’t discriminate, but more about the reality of would I be penalized? Would it hinder my career growth? Would I be seen as ungrateful?
