1st pregnancy appointment?

I just found out I was pregnant last Thursday (9/12), and I have my first “confirmation of pregnancy appt.” tomorrow. I’m approximately 5-6 weeks. Just wondering what types of things to expect on my first visit. Do they take an ultrasound? Will I get a due date? I’m totally new to this! Thanks!!

I went today to confirm my pregnancy. I am 7 weeks and 6 days . I did a urine sample for them to test and an ultrasound to confirm my due date . Which is 4/28.

They will calculate your due date, take a urine test and maybe do a pregnancy test with the urine to confirm. They will ask you questions and answer your questions. They usually don’t do ultrasounds until around 8 weeks. There isn’t too much to see before that.

At mine, they did bloodwork, asked my about 10 thousand questions, gave me the do’s and don’ts and I also had an ultrasound. But I don’t think most doctors do ultrasounds that early!

My first appointment was at 7 weeks, they did an ultrasound, took blood and got family history. Then they had me come back a week later for a pap and another ultrasound

My doctors office doesn't have you come in until 8 to 10 weeks and all they do is a physical exam, check your cervix and run a pregnancy test. I didn't get an ultrasound until 12 weeks.
