Unusual Cycle

My cycle this month has been whack. I experienced brown discharge, like old blood, before ovulation and now I’m experiencing dark brown, with some red blood which I assumed was the onset of my period because usually when I get my period it starts with old blood then red but this is just odd because the flow is also very light but when I wipe it’s very evident. eve said my period wasn’t til next week but I marked it for this week. Idk what this is it’s just odd. Any advice, anyone else experience this. Another note is that my period can be irregular. But any advice is appreciated.
