Pregnancy after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage at almost 6 weeks pregnant about 4.5 weeks ago. When I went in, I bled 1 day and my ultrasound didn’t show anything left in uterus. I figured my period would return in 4 weeks bc of my normal 28 day cycle and me not being very far along. It hasn’t returned yet. I’m not sure if I ovulated 2 weeks ago bc I wasn’t tracking but we did BD. I’m nervous to take a test bc I don’t want to be disappointed. Anyone have a similar experience or any advice? I should also mention that I really didn’t bleed that much with my miscarriage and I did have a negative pregnancy test after so my levels weren’t very high to begin with.
