My bf and i are planning to start trying to conceive in about a year but i want to work out a bit first and then about a couple months prior I’m thinking of taking (prenatal) vitamins

Definitely take prenatals at least a few months before trying to conceive. Could take it now, honestly. But at least 3 months before trying. I lost 30 lbs before we started trying. Still plus sized, but not as much and my diet was WAY better. I know some people that like to get really healthy first.

My pcp said i could take prenatals up to one yr before ttc. My gyn NP said 6 months before ttc. So i voted prenatals. I was not overweight or underweight so that was not a factor in my ttc journey. But its geat if u can establish a workout routine pre-pregnancy so that you can keep it up (as much as you can) during & after pregnancy.

I basically pretended I was pregnant for 3 months prior to conceiving. I didn’t drink and ate healthy. I dropped 30lbs before getting pregnant.

I took prenatals and was taking ballet classes for exercise, which resulted in me losing some weight and getting pregnant.
