😭😫 I just lost $32,000 😖😭😭😭

So I’m buying a house and have put down $27,000 initial deposit with the realestate. I had to transfer the remaining $32,000 (which is the rest of my savings) into my new mortgage account. But my stupid pregnancy brain got the BSB mixed up so I sent the $32K to the wrong place. The bank has no idea where it has gone. They are 99% sure they will be able to retrieve it, but it may not be for 6 weeks. Settlement for my house is on Friday and I won’t be able to settle without the rest of my money.

I can request an extension for settlement but the seller is not required to agree to it and because it’s my fault that settlement won’t go through she can keep my initial $27,000 deposit. So I could ultimately lose the entire $59,000 that I have worked so hard for and saved for years!!!!

I have anxiety at the best of times but being pregnant and buying this house has been so overwhelming. Now I’ve royally stuffed up with this mix up, I feel like crawling into a hole.

I’m seriously so stressed out. 😭😭😭
