Buying All of a Product?

✈️

This happens at every store when there are sales, but I do a lot of shopping at Aldi, and it’s especially obvious there. For those that don’t know, it’s a discount grocery chain with a rotating stock of products. Some things they always have, others are limited time promotions. Occasionally one of their special buys will explode in popularity, and people will go in and buy out all of the stock. As in a single shopper buying every single unit available, including at multiple stores. Sometimes it’s to hoard for personal use, other times it’s to resell. Right now everyone’s freaking out about the Keto Bread, which is going for about triple price resale online.

So here are my questions: Is it wrong for people to buy excessive amounts of products? Does it matter if it’s for personal use or resale? Should the stores limit how much people can buy, or is it simply first come first serve?
