Am I the only one who wants ONE child?

Question

I tried for almost 6 years. Got pregnant just a couple months shy of my six year mark. So I dont take the miracle of children for granted nor do I discredit the experience. I truly just want 1 child. I'm perfectly content with this 1 and keeping life moving along without having more children. I get questioned and judged more than anyone relating to me. So, I was just curious. Anyone else only want 1? Reasons why? No judgement zone, I'm genuinely curious!
Also*** Does anyone plan on getting their tubes tied after their first?

I only wanted one till my son got to the age where I felt he needed someone to grow up with, we aren’t gonna be here forever and imagining him growing up alone and us being gone one day made me sad!. My son was 2.5 when I had my daughter (may 2016), she is now over 3 and now I’m on my third and last (due nov). It makes me happy knowing that when We are old or gone they will have each other.
That decision of course is up to you guys but you also have to think about other things too!

Now I’m having my second and last child. 
They’ll be seven years apart, so I love being able to give my daughter so much time before expanding our family again. 
It’s all really up to you. Do what makes you feel comfortable and content

I always wanted more than one but some days I wish I hadn't gotten pregnant again not that I'm not grateful but I'm very much just enjoying my little man and our time together ❤

I'm currently pregnant with my first (I have pcos so I know the struggle people go through) and that's all I want. I've been told "your kid's going to be weird" by my best friend no less lol. I honestly don't know if I'll change my mind after she's born, but right now, my mind is made up.

I’m not 100% sure if we will want to have another one someday, but we have no plans to as of right now. Honestly I just gave birth less than a week ago and it was so hard I looked at my husband and said “i am never doing this again” but I don’t think the physical pain would stop me if we changed our minds later. As of right now I see myself totally capable of being happy with just this one little one!

Some people only want one and that’s perfectly fine. Whoever is judging and throwing their two sense in is bias and wrong. I think majority of people want at least 2 but that’s no reason for you to second guess your life and family planning. My sister has 1 daughter. She’s 10. My sister is now 42 and so glad she had her 1..her husband and her are career junkies, love to travel, and had a hard time conceiving. One is more than plenty for them.

I just want 1. I have a step son on top of it. So when I want 2 kids I remember we have my step son too and I just don't wanna juggle 3 kids at times.
