Baby measuring big?

Before today’s appointment I was 26 weeks 2 days. Now I’m 27 weeks and the baby is around 2lbs/1kg. I was just diagnosed with GD and need to see a high risk doctor soon. I’m afraid this baby is going to be massive! At the beginning of my pregnancy I was measuring a week ahead and then a week behind, and now it seems to be back to normal. But the 2lbs is worrying me.

What are your experiences with GD? Did you give birth at 40 weeks for earlier? Was your baby big?
