Weaning baby off breastmilk, but he just keeps wanting my boob 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ok so my son just turned one, so I decided to start weaning him. I am mixing whole. I’ll with my breastmilk. This is his fourth bottle and all 4 times he’s done the exact same thing!

He drinks the whole bottle (4-5 ounces) except for the last ounce. Then will go for my boob. I keep trying to give him the bottle but he pushes it away, refuses, and eventually cries. Sometimes he will suck my boob for a second, other times he will drink for a little while (about 1-3 minutes), but he literally does this EVERYTIME!

Any idea how I can prevent this? I mean I don’t mind persay, I just want to make sure I’m making the right steps into weaning him off.
