Am I a horrible person?

Am I a terrible person for giving up my baby with a disability. I cannot take of him properly and I don’t think i can do it. I know it’ll make his life harder and worse but I just don’t think I’ll be able to take care of him. Please give advice hurtful or not.

You made the best choice you could as a mother. Taking care of a child with special needs can be very difficult. I have seen parents struggle with their child and you can see the negative effects it has on the family. In the agency I work at we have students that have never lived home with their families. They just see them a couple of times a year, to every weekend, or not at all depending on how involved they are. Sometimes this is what is best. They have around the clock care and nursing. Do not feel guilty for making a decision to do what is best for your child. I am sorry you had to make that choice.

It’s a hard one depends what kind of a person you are. If baby ends up in care is the baby’s life going to be more fucked than going round in care his whole life than being with you? If so then I wouldn’t personally do it, but if I thought am so messed up anything is better than me taking care of my own child then yes best to give to care 
That’s one way of seeing it form another perspective. 
Me PERSONALLY wouldn’t put give my child up regardless of any disability as that’s the most cutest innocent being in the world how can I the person given birth to it give up on him/her..... but that’s me I don’t know what your going through or what kind of a person you are.
