I need tinder advice

So lately whenever I've been on tinder if I match with a guy I'll text him. After that I check my feed and that guy I had just messaged unliked me and I have no clue why. I mainly say "hi" or "hey" because I'm really awkward at texting guys first and I know like 90% of the guys I match with they wont text first. I'm confused on what to do, like if you're just going to unadd me then why like me to begin with. I'm so confused. Any girls out there that have experienced the same thing or something similar?
