Is a second pregnancy easier than the first?

I know all pregnancies are different but from your experiences was the second one easier? Maybe because your body has already been through it? I’m thinking of a second baby but my first pregnancy was brutal. Cramps, puking, headaches, heartburn, basically bedridden and then I had a pretty hard delivery too...just wondering if I should expect around the same type of pregnancy or if anyone has noticed the second one being easier.
