Not pregnant yet but no, I don’t get the flu shot, neither does anyone in my family. None of us ever get the flu.

I think it’s silly - I will have the flu shot and if anyone has a cold/ flu I was just make sure they don’t get too close! 
My family have common sense... if they were ill they would wait and stay away until better.

I don't get the flu shot but even if I did I wouldn't make anyone get the flu shot to see my kid. My kids are 12 and 8 years old very healthy and I'm currently pregnant again. I would just ask them to not be sick before they came to visit and to wash their hands before touching my baby no need to be so drastic in my opinion.

My FIL wanted everyone who went in his house to have a flu shot after the twins where born. I lied and said I had it. My family doesn't get the flu shot at all.

Yes. But some people don’t have any immunity post shot. It’s just their make up. That’s what herd immunity is for. My aunt is anti vax (not trying to start an issue) so her son is not welcome as he has had no vaccinations ever 🤷‍♀️ but everyone else planning on seeing the baby is suggested to check with their drs about updating tetanus, MMR, flu, and whooping cough

Absolutely.  My parents and sister and my mil got their flu shot because they were the ones coming to the hospital and would be around her the most.
