Leaking?

36 weeks pregnant and for weeks I’ve been having leaky discharge. I went to L&D before and they said it wasn’t amniotic fluid, but I’m still really freaked out by it! After laying down for a while and I go stand up, I feel it come out of me. It’s just watery, and I know for a fact it’s not pee. Anyone else experience this? Is it just discharge??

Yep! I had the same thing starting around 36 weeks. Though for sure it had to be my water because there was so much and it was so watery but my midwives tested it and it wasn’t. My water did actually break about four days later tho (:

My water broke and when I went to get checked I was sent home bc they said it didn't, they failed to run a 3rd test that would have shown that it really did break. It started off with relatively small gushes and I kept leaking until I had a c section 14 hours later.

I’m only 28 weeks but this happens to me often. It’s not enough to run down my leg, but definitely enough to soak the crotch of my underwear. I told my doctor about it and she didn’t seem concerned 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah it sucks. It’s just discharge. Normal

Did they test the fluid when you went to the hospital, or just look at it? If they haven't tested it, ask your OB. In the meantime, be sure you are drinking tons of water. If you are leaking fluid, sometimes you can replenish it.
