Can’t tell if I’m having a contraction- ftm what did it feel like for you?

It’s like a strong period that will intensify in waves in my lower stomach. 
I know people will comment you’ll know etc but I really don’t like it’s painful but bare able I just can’t tell when they start and stop to time them
39+6 no mucus plug/show or water breaking

Pretty much feels like you're supppperrrrrr constipated and it feels like ita moving and your stomach will tighten up really hard and release when it stops.

Sounds like early ones. I always described my early ones like gas pains. Time them! See if it’s anything consistent. 
I’ll also add my waters didn’t break n I didn’t loose my plug till I was in very active labor. So it’s not always a thing that happens for labor to begin.

Start the timer when you start feeling like its a period cramp and your stomach starts tightening and getting hard. Stop the timer when you feel relief and your belly goes back to normal. Even the lightest cramp feeling is a contraction. You dont necessarily lose your mucous plug. You can lose it while actually giving birth right before your water breaks.

Sounds like contractions to me and water doesnt have to break nor loose ur plug to start going into labor

They are only mildly uncomfortable in the beginning.  They don't get bad until active labor.  That sounds like contrations to me. Start timing
