12-18 month old fall/winter clothing just haves?

I’m ordering my son clothes for the colder months. I’m stuck on what I should buy! 
Up until now he only ever really wore sleepers 😂 but now that he’s older I don’t think I should just put him in sleepers all the time.

I like this as a guide as I live in a cold climate. However I would only have up to 3 sweaters and add 3 t shirts for layering. Then I like having 3 maybe 4 sets of Jammie’s depending on if they get messy while eating breakfast.

This really depends on where you live, and how much you are outdoors. At that age where I live, you would need 3-4 wool underwear sets and socks, pants and tops(how many depends on how often you wash clothes, or how messy your kid is), jacket, thin outdoor play overall, rain suit, thick winter overall, hat, mittens, shoes. 
In my son's kindergarten they are outdoors minimum 3-4hours or day regardless of whether. So we need a huge variety of clothes.
