Do you and your SO have separate or joint bank accounts?

My husband and I have separate bank accounts and people look at me like we’re insane if I mention something about it.
It works really well for us- we have never had a fight about money! So just wondering how weird we *really* are, lol

I personally think it’s a bit odd having separate bank accounts but everyone is different and every relationship is different. We never look at our money as his or hers... it’s OURS no matter who makes it.

Joint and separate ! We’ve never argued about money—it doesn’t mind whose money it is, we’re still sharing. Even money from the separate accounts 🤷🏾‍♀️ works for us !

We have separate accounts and a joint for bills... otherwise we have our own paychecks and do what we wish with it. As long as all responsibilities are taken care of then I dont care what he does and he doesn't question what I spend. 
We've been together for 17 years and finances have never been an issue and we never fight about money.

We have a primary joint checking and savings account where most of our money goes.
Then we each have personal spending accounts. We plan to give each other access to those we just live a long way from the bank and we haven't gotten around to it...

Not at all. We have separate accounts I just send over half of what the bills cost to him and he pays them :) we never fight either. Easy!

We have our own seperate accounts, and savings accounts
We also have a joint account for mortgage and bills.
 
We put in the same amount each month which is more than the outgoings so we have a joint saving.

It’s not weird. My cousins advised me to do this too when we got married too. Money ruins a lot of relationships. 
Joint is for the mortgage, utilities and household expenses. We have separate accounts too. Let’s say we buy a fridge, we each pay a third then take a third from the joint account. My husband makes more and pays for some bigger things but it’s so much less stress being held accountable for your own expenses.

Separate accounts, and I control them both (within reason- I'm not going to question every transaction on my husband's account for example. I use his account to pay rent and borrow money).
