Not until after they started on foods. It has no value nutritionally if given in bottles with formula and can be a choking hazard.

Mine was 2 weeks because he has acid reflux real bad and on Nutramigen which is very thin. His doctor recommended to put a half a teaspoon of single grain rice cereal per ounce of milk in his bottles.

Oh, I know I'm going to get some backlash for this, but all four of my children had cereal, meats, vegetables, and fruits from a spoon the day they came home from the hospital. My three youngest children also had cereal added to their bottles due to acid reflux. They all did fine, no allergies and are now respectively 18, 16, 13, and 11.

I don’t do cereal, we go straight to purées and solid food.

We did oatmeal cereal instead but started at 4.5 months when her pediatrician gave us the okay to start

We used baby oatmeal instead of rice cereal due to the arsenic in rice, I wasn't comfortable giving it to the baby. But, 6 months because her pediatrician suggested we use that to see if she was ready for food
