Bleeding after transvaginal ultrasound

Meet the little bubba 🥰 6 weeks and 1 day.

While everything went well in our first transvaginal ultrasound... as soon as we were done i started bleeding. That same morning i was having brown spotting with a hint if blood so i freaked out and went to my OB.

She proceeded with the US and we saw the baby and heartbeat ❤️

She prescribed me progesterone and complete bed rest to make sure the spotting stops. But right now i am more than just spotting. Im not wearing a pad but everytime i pee, its just filled with blood. It also has some stringy blood that comes with it. When i wipe, its blood.

Im confused and scared at the same time. Is this normal to bleed after transvaginal ultrasound??? Doctor told me not to worry, but i cant help but to!

Update:

Just came from my OB and baby is doing great!!! Baby is growing 🥰 from 4mm it is now 10mm with heartbeat of 117 beats per minute. 🥰 The relief when we heard the heartbeat! It was just magical! 🥰

Im still spotting, however doctor told me not worry as long as it is not heavy bleeding. Im beyond relieved.
