MIL RANT

Idk what my MIL's problem is but she needs to stop running her mouth. The other day our friends came over. We just had a baby so they wanted to see her. We also have a 15 month old. We live at my in laws but they live in an in law suite. Anyways, our son was over at my MIL's so my friend goes over there & was like "you're a big brother now!" My MIL's response to her was "yah I don't know how they're going to do it" ... wtf is that supposed to mean ? She acts like we're failing as parents or we ask for help 24/7. Which we definitely do not. She texts me during the day sometimes asking if I would like her to watch our son for a few hours. I always respond with "I'll let you know" she never ends up having to take him because I don't need help. I didn't have children to throw them onto their grandmother. So idk where she got that smart ass remark from but it's not necessary. My husband & I are very good parents & I have no clue wtf her issue is. My step sons mom on the other hand when she used to live at my in laws always had my MIL watching their son when my husband was off at work. Idk if she expects me to be the same way but it's not happening.
