Ladies, questions about being induced!

So I’ll be 40 weeks exactly tomorrow.. I have my last doctors appointment on Wednesday. She said if he doesn’t come then they’ll have to induce me.... what’s the process of getting induced? I hope that once I leave the doctors office, that I can just go straight to the hospital... but when you get induced do you have to wait for a room once you get to to your hospital?

Anyway this is just if he doesn’t come tomorrow, which I almost feel like he won’t! He’s a lazy baby! I haven’t even dropped yet.. my stomach is still a bit high.
