My mother in law 🤦‍♀️

I'll keep it short.

I asked for my own tablet back because we left it at my mother in laws house when we moved out. Why? Because she babysat my step daughter half the time & I don't allow her to use the tablet when shes with me I rather her play with toys or in the backyard. So i left it. I asked her for it back & she said "oh sorry i didn't know it was yours so i gave it away to her little cousin since shes always fighting with her brother over the one they have"

I said omg really? Why?

All she said was "sorry my bad"

"My son left it here so I gave it away"

I always keep my mouth shut with this woman because I don't want to disrespect his mom but there has to be a limit. Right? Idk I was just in shock that she would give it away when she knew it was ours & the reason why we left it there. So I said " okay thanks next time I know not leave any of my belongings at your house"

Again she said "my bad I did you dirty"

Like what the hell is wrong with her😒

I thought my last straw with her was when she pulled a chair out of my hand while I was pregnant & said she was taking it for herself to sit. I will snap one day & it won't be pretty. I just get mad at myself for letting her run all over me all the time. & I did nothing to this woman. All i did was take her income away(her son). She was charging us $800 for a room she kept coming into without knocking. Anyway I feel stupid for letting her ruin my day but theres just way more things shes done & they keep piling up.

What do i say to her without sounding rude 😒
