No period 12+*_ months post birth

Okay so I haven’t had a period yet and it’s been a whole year since Baby. We are ready to try and start for #2 on account of it took 5+years for Baby 1. Can ovulation tests tell me when I might have a period again? Lol or is it possible to ovulate without a period? The top test what this morning and it wasn’t all the way positive and the bottom is the same.
