I have an STD whats next

Today I found out I have chlamydia, I’ve been in a monogamous relationships or about a year and a few months. We never used condoms which is my biggest regret. I was under the impression that my partner got checked every year, turns out he didn’t get tested the last 2 years. I took the antibiotics today and I wait 4 weeks to get tested again. I had a UTI and the doctor didn’t say anything about an std. Could the UTI have been the start of the STD? And should I be considering that my partner cheated on me at one point if I’m testing positive for an STD now?
