Miss Olivia Belle finally made her appearance on Sept 21, one day shy of 42 weeks. It was the most traumatic experience of my life. My body in the end would just not make strong contractions, but I managed to keep pushing her out. They needed to use the vacuum along with an episiotomy. When she finally came out, her hand was up around her face and cord around the neck. Finally, my placenta would not deliver. They had to prod and dig it out. Now, I still have a tiny piece out that I am trying to pass, but if not will need a D&C. 15 hours later, this precious girl will always be worth it ❤️
