34 weeks and already having contractions?

Question

My doctor said I'm not dilated and that the contractions arent regular but they were coming every 2 minutes. 
Did anyone have contractions that early? When did you end up going into labor?

I had contractions 2 minutes apart for 10 weeks last pregnancy. I was in the hospital for a week at 28 weeks just to be sure they werent doing anything and given the steroid injections just in case. I was put on partial bedrest until 37 weeks and I had her at 38 weeks.
They called it irritable uterus and it causes non-progressive contractions which can be prodromal (false) labour for some where it just happens occasionally or it can be like mine was where it was constant. They were causing dilation and effacement, but very slowly (possibly due to the bedrest).

I had them show on monitoring at 34 weeks, now almost 37 weeks this pregnancy. 
My first pregnancy I had them show when monitoring at 35 weeks and didn't have her until nearly 40 weeks and had to be induced.

I had contractions around then with my first. I went in and they told me I was having actual contractions frequently but I wasn’t in labor. I ended up being induced at 40w4d. They never gave me an answer for why I was having contractions so early.

I have had braxton hicks since prob 15 or 16 weeks.  Sometimes very frequently sometimes none for a whole day.    But I'm 33weeks and had contractions for several hours lasting a min and coming every 4 min.  And I was ab to call the dr and they stopped lol.    Just make sure you're staying well hydrated
