Need advice

So me and my partner have the perfect outside relationship he helps cook clean looks after the children all round amazing

Except

He is so ignorant and I find it hard to actually have a conversation with him

Sometimes we talk but I am always the conversation starter

Plus

We have small children and our sex love has recently gone from every other day to once a week if lucky

I just don’t know if I can go ahead with marrying him.

I know it’s not all about sex but a big part is I want a best friend someone I can talk to share my life with.
