Membrane sweep help any of you go into labor?

Hey all- I’m a FTM and SO anxious to meet baby!! 💙 i am 39+2, 2cm and nearly all the way effaced but still not a lot of labor contractions or action going on :/

I went in to my OB today and she offered to do a membrane strip after checking my cervix. It really didn’t hurt like I thought it might after reading to a lot of other accounts, but it also hasn’t come along with much progress (or at least I don’t think so...) I’m having some more (mild) contractions but not much else 😔 that was about 5 hours ago. Is there hope yet?? Anyone have a membrane stripping that helped them go into labor that night or next day or similar??

In just SO done with being pregnant and REALLY excited to be a momma!
