Swelling in early pregnancy normal?

I’m only 6 weeks and I’m already having major swelling in my ankles and feet. I do sit at a desk all day and I know that doesn’t help. But is this normal this early? I can’t imagine how swollen I’ll be later in pregnancy (crossing fingers ... second pregnancy after an early miscarriage back in June).

I’m not too sure, but to be safe i would call the after-hours nurse line and ask. Just because when I found out I was pregnant (I was 5 weeks during that time) and the doc did tell me that if I get swelling in my feet, hands, and/or face then I would need to go into the ER. Don’t remember word for word, but I remember her informing me something about swelling in early pregnancy.
