Flu shot bad while pregnant ?!

I’m sorry, I just saw the post about getting the shot while pregnant and I didn’t know it wasn’t recommended while pregnant 😞 I got sick a total of 5 times in my first trimester alone so I thought I was the best decision. I’m 35 weeks and got the shot two days ago. Luckily my baby boy is moving around okay but now I feel stupid

It is recommended! Your doctor will want to give you Tdap as well.

Who said it wasn’t recommended because it most certainly is! When you’re pregnant your immune system is weakened so any illness is very harmful to you and baby. 
Unless your doctor tells you no or the CDC says otherwise get the shot and don’t take the chance. You did the right thing don’t feel bad.

It is recommended to get it during pregnancy but it is also something that some people feel strongly against so be prepared for both sides of the argument when asking about it here.

It is recommended by my doctor to get the flu shot and t-dap. I've never had the flu shot before but if you get them while pregnant then the baby is coverd for 6 months after birth until he's old enough to get one himself. Got mine done at 22 weeks.

The flu shot is recommended while pregnant. Don't list to people other than your doctor about that. I got the flu shot and my TDAP shot done recently and trust me, they're quite alright. It covers their immune systems until they can safely get it.

Theres a handful of women who talk down on it and say it's useless but that's the most I've seen on here. Its def recommended by obs and the cdc.
