Ovarian cyst, when can I have sex again?

I’ve had an ovarian cyst for like a week and a half now, maybe two weeks by this point (feels like three years), it’s going down but I can still feel pain when my bf and I try to have sex.

I got an ultrasound a week ago and it was measured at 6 cm (2 inches).

Anyone have experience with this and have an idea of when I’ll be able to have sex again?

Also, side note, I think it may have popped last night cause I had these terrible cramps I was curled up crying in pain for like 20 minutes I took painkillers but it took a while for them to set in.

And then this morning I go to the bathroom and I’m bleeding.

So period or popped cyst, both would be good news since my cycle was thrown off by the cyst so I’m wayyyy late.
