Medicaid headache..

So in July my Medicaid was canceled without my knowledge (never received a letter or anything.. I was about 24 weeks at the time btw.. only been able to see doctor once since then and I’m now 34 weeks). As soon as I found out I reapplied, which was in August.. I just got my approval letter this past Friday so I thought okay great everything is good. Well my doctors office called me this morning saying my Medicaid is still showing it’s not active and if I don’t have it fixed by tomorrow I’ll owe them $2000. Naturally I call DSS and ask what’s going on, just for her to tell me she’ll have to look into my case and she’ll call me back before 4:00. I’m now freaking out thinking I’ll have to yet again move my appointment that’s tomorrow AND have to pay my doctors office $2000. I don’t understand why it’s saying it’s not active when I just got my letter Friday saying that it’s approved. 🤦‍♀️ Has anyone else dealt with something similar?.. Does anyone have any advice how to handle this because I’m on the verge of a mental breakdown? 😫
