Can I eat before being induced?

My ob never told me. Am I allowed to eat breakfast before I go in or will it make me sick?

Absolutely eat a full meal before you go. It will likely be hours before you're in active labor. It took over an hour just to get me checked in and settled in my room.

It’s probably better to eat beforehand to give you strength. You won’t be able to eat solids once you get there. Plus, induction is a long process. I was in labor a day and a half

Yes! Eat a big meal as you won’t be able to eat during labor. We went out to our favorite breakfast spot, had breakfast and then went straight to the hospital.

I’ve been induced both pregnancy yes eat lol they won’t let you once your hooked up to everything and you’ll be starving lol my little ones are 5 years apart the first I wasn’t given anything !!! This time around same hospital mind you i was at least given apple juice Italian ice water jello lol but yes eat ! You’ll need it
