When are you ladies finding out the gender?

With my first we found out at 20 weeks. It was a long debate because hubby wanted to wait (that's how his family has always done it) and I did not.

Well this time he is adamant that we do it his way since we did it my way last time. I am not happy about having to wait all 40 weeks. And, to make things worse (I know I'm petty to be annoyed but they're over the top) his family is just waaaaay too happy that we're waiting because "it's so much more fun" and "it gives you the extra strength to make it through labor" (really???) and "it's the best surprise nature gives."

Meanwhile, miss type A over here is losing her mind needing to know if I can sell/give away my girls clothes and buy boy's clothes or if I am good without buying anything. I also feel like I bonded with my daughter a little more when we got to name her a few weeks after finding out. I just really enjoyed finding out early.

And, of course, one sister in law has to give the spiel about "unless there is a penis or vagina on it, all clothes can be used for either gender." 🙄 I'm not at all against boys wearing pink but if we have a boy, he won't be wearing my daughter's frilly dresses...so there's more than genitalia that distinguishes boys & girls clothes.

Anyway, this was a long rant. But I'm thinking it's going to be a loooong wait and I just hope it's half as satisfying as they promise...but I'm doubtful because I want to know!
